Crafted by Eric Avar, the Nike Zoom Kobe 6 was donned by Kobe Bryant throughout the 2010-2011 NBA season. Its upper features a textured polyurethane build inspired by snakeskin, paying homage to Bryant's 'Black Mamba' moniker. The shoe is fortified with a Phylon-injected midsole and Zoom Air units in the heel and forefoot. The Kobe 6 'Barcelona' showcases the iconic home colors of Spanish football club FC Barcelona, a nod to Bryant's childhood love for soccer while residing in Italy.

They look good, and they seem well made, but the toe box is waaay too narrow for me, even moving up a half-size. Very easy to get on with the rear pull-tab. Elastic on the inside of the tongue should hold it in place no matter how the terrain is pushing you, so that should help keep debris out of the shoe. Kudos for the included black and turquoise laces if you don't like the stock blue. It's too bad they were unbearably narrow in the front for me.

these feel great, the fit and design are nice. im not sure these will last long because it looks like the rubbery zig zag design is just glued on. when i got the shoe, the area around the clear window underneath was already yellowing. the sole doesnt look or feel very substantial, i wouldnt use these for anything too heavy in the gym or for a lot of hard use.

These shoes are a little wider than normal, but if you have a shoe stretcher, you can also stretch them to fit. Very comfortable. I use them for running and really like them because they have no decorative straps on the side which can can cause pressure points around the ball of the foot. Highly recommend these to anyone.

I've had back problems for years, and now am in the middle of two hip replacements. Meaning tying shoes is not an option. Of all the slip ons I have, I love these the most. 2 pair at 40 bucks a pair??? I love them beyond words. Super light. Not for cold weather, mind you, and slippery on icy stuff, for for spring summer and fall they are the bomb.
