I was looking for something like the Keds I had as a child. I gave these a try because they seemed similar at a very good price. I wasnt expecting much. But they are really nice. Well made and exact fit.

These shoes are amazing. I remembered my dad wearing these circa 1970. So, when I was looking for a Vans alternative, I thought I'd give them a try. I think I even had the kids version, but it might have been a different model. I am so glad I bought them. They are very basic, but that's all you need. I even bought a second pair in another color.
Most people would be a lot better off if they would just wear simple flat shoes like these without artificial arch support. I started wearing these about 5 days a week and my daily foot cramps are gone and my periodic plantar fasciitis has not returned.
As an added bonus, these stay good looking as I think the canvas is treated with something that repels water, etc. It makes them a bit warm at times, but it really seems to extend the time that they look good.
