The Air Jordan 8 Retro Winterized ‘Gunsmoke’ celebrates the 30th anniversary of the classic silhouette with a revamped build designed to withstand the elements. Secured with synthetic black cross straps, the water-resistant upper is crafted from black nubuck with a thicker collar lining for added comfort. A chenille Jumpman patch adorns the tongue, while ‘Air Jordan’ is embossed on reflective silver side straps. The sneaker rides on a black and metallic silver polyurethane midsole, enhanced with encapsulated Air-sole cushioning in the forefoot and heel.

These sneakers are super fun!!!
Very bright colors, very unique.
They fit true to size.
They are a little, but little, heavy. But because they are sturdy and well made. They don’t look chunky, but they have more “body”.
They are not super padded, they are comfortables, but definitely not Disney walking shoes. They are pretty similar to my Metcons.
But, for casual wear, these are VERY nice and fun!!!!

I've been running with New Balance shoes for years and found them to be the best. What I didn't realize is that they make such comfortable shoes for everyday wear. I spend a lot of time standing and walking on my job; I also have plantar fasciitis due to high arch and physical stress on my feet. I've tried pretty much everything from running shoes to walking shoes, as well as hi-end Clark's, and different arch supports. NB 801 are by far the most comfortable. They provide outstanding cushioning and support; you can easily slip them off for few minutes, and they look well-made. For the first time in years my fasciitis is not aggravated after hours of standing. I will get a second pair for traveling.
