The Air Jordan 5 Retro SE 'Craft' introduces a refined color scheme and updated construction to the iconic silhouette. The upper is expertly crafted from taupe-colored suede and textile, with a secure two-tone lace system and translucent quarter-panel netting adding stylish accents. A touch of orange textile lines the tongue, complementing the Jumpman logo adorning the exterior. A second Jumpman icon is elegantly embroidered on the heel overlay in grey. The mid-top design features an off-white polyurethane midsole with speckled shark-tooth detailing and a visible Air-sole unit in the heel for enhanced comfort. The translucent herringbone-pattern rubber outsole provides excellent traction for quick movements on and off the court.

Okay, these are (or appear to be) all cloth, even the soles. Mine are pretty tight fitting but I’ve bought other slip on type shoes that seem to fit just right and after wearing them for a bit then there too loose, so I’m hoping that after I wear these, they loosen up a bit and for just right.
What I DO like is they are light weight and due to the cloth soles, my feet breathe much better than wearing rubber or plastic soles slippers.

When my 12-year old son said that he wanted these shoes, I ordered them. I have purchased several New Balance products (for my family) in the past, and have found them to be durable and comfortable. When these arrived (quickly and ahead of schedule I might add), I was pleasantly surprised. They look better in person than the photo. The shoes run true to size (my son wears a 10 ½) and he says that they are very comfortable. He even thinks that they extremely stylish (or as stylish as green shoes, with camouflage accents and orange laces can be). And I will be able to tell you in about 4 months how well they wear (traditionally tennis shoes last about 6 months before they begin to tear up) after he puts some more miles on them. But overall, I give them 5 stars.

Order half a size up. I couldn't tell you whether there truly is a sizing isshuns or if Americans just like their shoes a little bigger, but I'm a perfect 9.5 and the 10s I received today fit right into the Zen zone. Nice and lightweight, I do not recommend running down wet stairs at full-tilt until the soles have broken in. Or I guess unless there's a bear drinking straight from your liquor cabinet. Don't even study the soles if that's happening. Quit drooling on your phone and run, AWAY from the bear.
I shall amend this review after bootages have been rendered in capital-producing laborious activities.
