The Air Jordan 3 Retro 'Desert Elephant' pays homage to the iconic silhouette's original 1988 release with its authentic materials and color blocking. The upper is crafted from black tumbled leather, complemented by the signature elephant-print overlays in a distinctive light tan shade. This neutral hue extends to the collar, eyestay, and tongue, which features a vibrant crimson Jumpman logo accent. Providing support, the mid-top design includes a white polyurethane midsole with a visible Air-sole unit positioned under the heel.

These are far more comfortable then typical canvas sneakers, but they offer a similar casual look. The sizing is very accurate, so order your normal size, regardless of whether you plan on wearing them with or without socks.
I've seen some reviews mention that they run narrow, but I don't agree. Compared to your typical canvas sneaker, they actually run wide and probably run wide compared to many other sneakers, as well. They have very ample toe room.

I ordered this for my father-in-law who is in assisted living. He needs a comfortable shoe that is easy to take on and off. The first pair I ordered was too short and too tight. I reordered a wider shoe one size larger and it fits well and is very comfortable.

I READ ALL THE REVIEWS BEFORE PURCHASING. MOST WERE POSITIVE AND I FOUND THAT WHAT OTHERS SAID WAS TRUE. THERE IS AN ARCH IN THIS SHOE. THERE IS NO ODOR FROM WEARING THIS SHOE. IT IS STYLISH AND LOOKS GOOD WITH SHORTS. I WEAR ALDEN BOOTS. I NEEDED SOMETHING BESIDES ALL MY RUNNING SHOES FOR A CRUISE THAT I AM TAKING THIS MONTH. GREAT SHOE...NO PROBLEMS.
