The 2016 retro edition became Nike's most monumental and successful shoe launch ever. Notably, this iteration is a faithful reproduction of the original Player Exclusive (PE) version, unlike the previous retros in 2000 and 2009. Setting it apart, the sneaker introduces a unique element by featuring MJ's comeback jersey number, #45, on the heel instead of the traditional #23. This retail release marks the first time such a change has been made for an Air Jordan 11. Overall, a really great shoe. My feet are always getting hot, and these shoes provide great ventilation. They're light and easy to put on. Even so, they seem sturdy. I've been wearing them every day for a few weeks, (walking around, biking, etc.) and they haven't worn down more than any other shoe I've had.
I do think the laces seem a little weak, which is the only thing keeping these shoes from being a 5 star purchase. It's probably worth buying a new pair of laces and doing them up yourself.

My husband wears these. Sometimes his feet swell around the ankle area, the strap adjusts to this well. Nicely padded throughout, good arch support,nicely made. This is his second pair, they wear very well. ... and no break in time. Worth every penny. He usually wears 10 1/2 wide and the 10.5 3E is perfect for him. They shipped quickly too.
