The 2016 retro edition became Nike's most monumental and successful shoe launch ever. Notably, this iteration is a faithful reproduction of the original Player Exclusive (PE) version, unlike the previous retros in 2000 and 2009. Setting it apart, the sneaker introduces a unique element by featuring MJ's comeback jersey number, #45, on the heel instead of the traditional #23. This retail release marks the first time such a change has been made for an Air Jordan 11. The Air Jordan 11 Retro 'Space Jam' 2016 edition combines nostalgia, cinematic relevance, and MJ's personal touch for an exceptional collector's item.

The shoes are sturdy and comfortable. Also, It adds about 1 inch to your height, could be a negative for some. I'm so used to the thin soul type of shoes that I couldn't feel the gas/break pedals with this new pair.
