The Zoom Kobe 5 'Draft Day' pays homage to Kobe Bryant's journey in professional basketball, specifically his draft day when he was selected by the Charlotte Hornets and subsequently traded to the Lakers. With a white-based upper, the sneaker features tonal Flywire cables and laces that boast a speckled design. The light blue mesh heel enhances motion flexibility and breathability. Varsity Purple accents grace the tongue, collar lining, and inner lining, while a synthetic heel counter provides added structure. Completing the design, leather details embellish the branded tongue. These shoes have always been so flat footed. I put Dr Scholls gel inserts with a little extra arch in them. Works great! Makes them a perfect little summer shoe to run around in.

I gotta say these will do very nicely in my quest to not look like every other middle-aged man, who only seem to want white tennis shoes. I'm sure the chicks will flock to my yard. These are really comfortable, fit true to size, and appear to be well made, so even if my yard remains empty I'm thinking they'll be well used.

Had an older gen of this shoe, it was amazing. This pair is wearing out a little faster than the last gen. The old pair also fit AMAZINGLY, and this one was a bit tight. I changed the lacing style (to horizontal) and it solved the narrow feeling of this pair. Only reason this got 4 starts is because the last pair blew... my... mind! so I might be comparing too much.
