The Air Jordan 4 Retro 'Military Black' pays homage to the original 'Military Blue' colorway from 1989, incorporating the same color blocking and materials. The upper combines sleek white leather with a grey suede forefoot overlay for added texture. Bold black accents adorn the TPU eyelets, molded heel tab, and the signature Jumpman logo on the woven tongue tag. The sneaker features a lightweight two-tone polyurethane midsole, equipped with a visible Air-sole unit in the heel for enhanced cushioning.

I need a large toe box and friends suggested Altra brand. I'm not a runner nor a hiker, but I do go to the gym and do some walking, thus I want a good shoe. I usually wear 9-5 to 10 and I have narrow feet. I tried the Olympic style in 9.5 but toe touched the end and they didn't have any in size 10. Thank goodness for Free Returns!! I found this style and bought it in size 10, and it was a bit cheaper than the Olympics style. The day I got it I wore it to the gym then wore around the house the remainder of the day. The shoe is light and comfortable! I forgot I had it on except when walking on the laminate floor it kinda sounds like cleats. The description doesn't say it's a trail shoe but still has the grippy type things around the outer edge of the bottom of the shoe -- not a big deal to me. I've only wore the shoes twice but so far I'm very pleased!

Only drawback was its mesh. Mesh material is not strong and tears from the middle where the feet folds while moving. Otherwise a great comfortable shoe.

ordered a half size down as with most superstars and it fits fine. you can't remove the character from the shell toe, its fused on there. my only complaint is that the rubber feels strange, like its falling apart. after taking the shoes out of the box, my shirt was covered with white eraser shaving like pieces. after rubbing the midsole, my fingers got sticky and more of that stuff came off. i ended up scrubbing with reshoevn8er and the eraser shaving problem is gone, but it still has a little tack when touching it. the rest of the shoe is fine.

The shoes look very expensive and very comfortable. I have been wearing Lacoste shoes now for years because they are comfortable and look great. It is great for when you want to look sharp and still be comfortable.

I'm very pleased with these shoes. They fit perfectly -- they are a true size 11 -- which is not a common situation these days. The medium width is also accurate.
The build quality is very good. It feels very well put together, with the edge and sole well attached, and good quality stitching throughout. The end of the tongue and the interior edge is lined with an man-made "leather" that looks and feels high quality. The canvas body is sturdy. Even the shoelaces are of good quality.
The overall look is nice. It's unusual, with a blue leaf-type pattern and a solid gray, but it works in terms of looks. It's not flashy, but it has more visual appeal than the usual monotone color scheme.
There's enough padding in the insole to make these comfortable for walking, but it could do with a bit more for extra comfort.
All in all, a mostly comfortable, nice looking, well-made pair of sneakers.
