The iconic post-dyed monofilament side stripe is designed with light grey fibers, adding a touch of sophistication. I typically buy New Balance size 14 x-narrow (14AA), and this shoe in size 14 regular works great. It has good support and enough cushion on the sides to feel snug, and I suspect it would also feel great for size 14B, 14C, or even 14D. Sketchers make wide and extra wide versions of their shoes.

Item looked great upon receipt, however, as my son wore them for about 3 weeks they are wearing out quickly. It may be my son or the shoes. Item arrived on time and exactly as pictured.

I've been wearing them almost daily, and have even taken them on a few easy trails. I'm very pleased with these shoes. They still fit very well, are very comfortable, and have been very durable for the price. They are starting to show a bit of wear, but it's not any more than my more-expensive name brand athletic shoes. I'd say these are actually outlasting a few pairs. After a winter and some spring rains, I've found that they don't have as good traction in wet conditions as some of my other shoes, but they're still acceptable in such weather. These are very good fair-weather shoes, good for casual wear, but are still decent shoes for quick jogs or very light hikes. For the money, I think these are great every-day-wear shoes, and they are holding up very well after six months.
